Good Samaritan Air Care in Kearney provides emergency helicopter transportation to a trauma center just minutes away from Alma if needed. Physician services are provided by Heartland Family Medicine, a
well equipped medical clinic located right next to the hospital.
A new dental For long-term healthcare, Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center is a 56 bed intermediate care facility located just north of the hospital. Around the clock nursing care in a home-like atmosphere combine with a scenic campus to provide residents with a great living experience. Alma’s
Harlan County Hospital is a modern and attractive 25-bed facility
featuring a full range of short-term acute care and outpatient services.
The hospital is currently building a $6 million addition and renovating
the existing facility, enhancing its diagnostic and acute care capabilities.
Completion is expected in the Spring of 2008. In the meantime, Skilled
Care and Intermediate Care nursing services, home health and hospice
services, and extensive diagnostic tools all provide residents with
top quality services in cardiology, urology, orthopedics, podiatry,
and general surgery.
