What's going on in Alma? Plenty! Don't imagine that just because Alma is a smaller town that there's nothing to do. Harlan County Relay for Life
Date: 8/14/2009 to 8/15/2009
Location: Alma High School Track
Details: A family oriented community event from 7pm-7am, with food, games & entertainment. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life unites communities across the country each year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

ALMA SCRAP TIRE CLEAN UP
Date: 9/15/2009 to 9/16/2009
Location: 615 SOUTH STREET
Details: Get rid of those old tires! Tires on rims will not be accepted.

Medication Disposal
Date: 9/24/2009
Location: Johnson Community Center
Details: The event will last from 10am- 1pm. Bring any unused or expired over the counter medication or prescriptions. No needles or sharps. For more information conatct Two Rivers Public Health Department 888-669-7154
